So if you’re in the business of network marketing, you need to understand the concept of a Sales Funnel.
Now if you’re like me,
you’ve been in network marketing for a while and you have no idea how to attract people to you,
nor do you know how to sell.
I would take a guess that 10% of the people who get into network marketing know anything about marketing.
The other 90% of us think it’s just about selling the product and telling people to join this wonderful opportunity.
Well the Sales Funnel concept helps you understand that you have some work to do in terms of capturing people, but to a large extent network marketing is like going fishing.
You have to be patient and put the right bait out there.
So this is how the great leader and CEO of #EliteMarketingPro Tim Erway explained a Sales Funnel to me
and
I’m going to use the same example because it really resonated with me.
“So imagine yourself walking through a mall. You may be there just waiting on your wife, husband, sister or brother.
The point is you’re NOT in the mall to shop.
You’re “browsing”. Now you’re an avid fisherman, you go fishing at least once a month and you happen to pass by a glass window that has fishing poles in the display.
So you stop and take a look and you see all sorts of other stuff inside the display.
So you say to yourself I’ll go inside and take a look.
So you come inside and sales person greets and you tell her or him, “I’m just looking thanks”.
And that’s exactly what you do. You look around at all the other things that they got inside of there.
You then remember that you’re going fishing this weekend.
You ask the sales person the price of this fishing hat that has caught your eye.
You proceed to ask her other questions about some other items.
Then you make the decision to purchase the hat, a raincoat and some fishing string.
You proceed to the cashier who rings you up, give you your receipt and your items and then you’re out the door and continue BROWSING.”
If you think you’ve got what a sales funnel is then you’re on your way to increased sales.
Why is a Sales Funnel Important?
Well as you can see, for any business you should have sales funnel set up so that you can
GET SALES!!!
Now if you’re online and you’re just sending out links about your product or service
and people who are interested have
1. No way of telling you they are interested
2. No way of purchasing the product
3. No way of getting follow up after the product is purchased.
then you’re not in business, you’re just doing this as a hobby.
Which by the way is the way MOST network marketers approach their network marketing business.
Like a hobby.
Well the first thing you need to do is start treating your business like a business;
and the second is SET UP your SALES FUNNEL!!!!
I learned from my mentor Tim Erway how this is done.

I’m not sure how a sales funnel applies to art sales, other than just get my art out there so people can see it!
Well just like in a store you want a system to capture potential buyers information and then you must have a process or system to take payments and follow up with both the buyer and the potential buyer.
Interesting post. Thanks for sharing.
I also have the Ultimate Sales Funnel. It is a GREAT help!
