It’s a SCAM … because You Failed
So you’ve decided to call network marketing a scam because you failed at it.
I wonder how many people a year say that Community College is a scam,
Or High School is a scam
or University is a scam
If you’re not good at something – just admit you’re not good at it.
Don’t call an entire Industry a scam!
I’ve gotten very tired of people always saying network marketing is a scam!
Can a Marketing Scam be Legal?
First to begin – if it is legal then it can’t be a scam.
If there is a product being sold (a physical product) from the company directly – then it can’t be a scam.
Trading in Futures is a more of a scam than network marketing! – You’re literally trading NOTHING or something. (that’s for another topic).
But I don’t want to get into an argument with Wall Street.
Here’s my take on it.
If you think University is a scam because you got a 1.3 GPA then please go and tell the University that.
Please create a group, a blog, a YouTube Chanel that tells the world University Education is a SCAM because I got a 1.3 GPA
I’m going to wait right here to see what your feedback will be like…..
Did you get a response,
“Well DUH! You fool!!!!
How could University be a scam if you never applied yourself? If you never studied? if you partied every night!”
The Myth of a Network Marketing as a Scam
Well don’t you think the same principle holds true for network marketing?
Out of 100 people who say network marketing is a scam – 90 of them decided to quit within the first 30 days!
That’s not even enough time for a vitamin to start taking effect in your system!!!
They have this misconception that network marketing is suppose to be easy!
You’re suppose to become a millionaire in 30 days!
Now for all those 90 people who quit in the first 30 days – I don’t blame you!
I blame the people who introduced you to your network marketing company.
Because they basically told you – “ALL YOU HAVE TO DO IS GET THREE PEOPLE”
Every time someone comes to me and speaks to me about their opportunity and they get to that line,
Because trust me, they will get to that line,
I say, “IS THAT ALL?”
they respond “Well, not really, you also have …..”
then I say, “IS THAT ALL?”
and then they say,
“Well no then you have to do ……”
And they start giving a long laundry list of ALL the others things I will have to do.
Only after me questing and drilling them do I get the REAL picture.
But the point is – most people are NOT going to drill and question.
They listen, they see all the glitter and gold and then they pull out their credit card and purchase their starter kit!
30 days later and depending on how enthusiastic you were – maybe $1000 more in debt you decide to quit!
Networking Marketing isn’t a scam.
It’s just that there are too many people in network marketing who don’t know how to MARKET!
You have to first learn how to market in order to be successful in network marketing.
Then you have to know how to provide value.
How do you go about doing that – check out this post.
Growing up I was told that network marketing is a HUGE scam.
It’s only when I examined who told me these things I realized that these people were MLM hoppers!
They moved from one MLM to the next every 60 to 90 days like clock work!
Until they exhausted the network marketing companies for that year!
As I once said before – if you’re going to take advice on how to keep your marriage going – don’t get it from the shrink who’s been divorced 5 times.
Go look for a couple who’s been married for 50 years and still love each other.
Likewise in your network marketing journey – don’t seek out those who haven’t made a dime or even made an attempt to earn.
Seek out those who are working at their business.
Seek out those who are learning new strategies.
Seek out those who haven’t decided to QUIT.
Because if you quit! You’ve failed.
