Facebook Power Editor vs Ad Manager

Recently I created an Ad on Facebook.
A Video Ad to be specific and I started getting results almost immediately!
But there was a bit of information missing in the headline.
So I went back to edit the Ad in Ad Manager.
I tried on numerous occasions to get the “perfect” (really perfect doesn’t exist) headline.
But I just didn’t have enough characters to fit what I really wanted to say!

So I saved and left it.

12 hours later I’m searching through my news feed for interesting articles……
And I come across another Facebook Ad of another leader in the industry!
I see the Ad,
I examine the Ad
I’m seeing how many characters he has in his Ad….

And Almost like a Light bulb going off in my head I said!
lightbulb!
“Of Course Facebook POWER EDITOR!”

My husband probably thought I was crazy because I did just shout,
“Oh Course! Facebook Power Editor” out of the blue!

Yes my friends,
You see there are amazing things you can do in Ad Manager,
but the world opens up even more when you move over to Power Editor.
You’ll see why in a second! (scroll down for the video).

Now you’re probably saying to yourself – I don’t even know how to set up an Ad and you want to talk to me about
power editor.
Well don’t worry you’re in learning mode so you will get it!
Fear not!
Facebook Power Editor allows you to include a few more things that you would NOT be able to do in Ad Manager.
Ad Manager is very intuitive, it’s easy to follow and user friendly. (for us Windows users)
If you’re the LINUX type of person then Power Editor is for you!

The first time I used Power Editor I loved it. (no I’m not a Linux person)
I just liked the techy look and feel.

I’m also not too good with words.
In Facebook’s Ad Manager – they’re basically saying you have to be world’s best copywriter because that’s the only way you will be able to fit what you want to say in the less than 100 characters!
It’s probably why Twitter and myself aren’t best of friends.
120 character limit ……. Not for me!

So Power Editor was the perfect tool for me to be able to put as much copy (words) into my Ad …..
and still get my message across.
Also an interesting fact about this particular ad I was running was that,
I wasn’t able to include a tracking pixel on the destination page when I used Ad Manager.
But guess what?!?!?!
With Power Editor I was able to include my tracking pixel.

And now I was able to track not only views on the video but also views on the landing page!
Cool huh?!

So let me just show you all this really quickly!
