You probably know people that are on social media constantly. Or are they?

When I first started with social media, my focus was on getting my content out there and sharing it on a schedule. But I had only 2 hours for that. Naturally, I couldn’t sit all day on social media and post content.

So, to answer the question, are there people on social media whole day. Well, of course not, silly. Nobody’s on social media 24/7.

Fortunately, there are many tools nowadays that make social media posting as easy as falling off a log.

My personal favorites, and listen carefully now, are:

  1. Coschedule
  2. Hootsuite
  3. Postplanner

Why I’m using all 3 of them, and not just one, you may ask? The answer is simple; they all have their pros and cons.

Coschedule

CoSchedule: The Editorial Calendar For WordPress
Your blog and your social media go hand in hand. So, if you don’t have a blog, go set it up. Check out these “3 Reasons Why You Need A Blog” .

You can do that today if you want. It doesn’t take very long, and you can finish it in 7 hours.

If you want to create an effective blog that your readers will always come back to, check out “7 Days to Blog”, to learn how to do it step-by-step.

So, blogs and social media come hand in hand; we have established that already. That is where Coschedule comes in.

We’ve been using Coschedule with one of our core clients, because it ties right into their blog.

This tool allows you to schedule an ideal planning process for your blog content, as well as sharing out that content.

What if I want to share other social posts, not just content from my blog, you ask. No problem.

With Coschedule, you can share out tons of other social posts too. You can use it for a broad range of social media posts.

But really, it’s a very easy tool to use. You can do your image post with it; you can do a video post, and, of course, your blog post as well.

To sum up, if you’re managing a lot of social media, and you’re running a blog, Coschedule is especially effective for sharing the content from your blog on your social media.
But don’t just take my word for it. Here’s what they have to say!

Hootsuite

I have to warn you now you’re going to love Hootsuite. You’ll soon understand why.
Hootsuite isn’t just for sharing, it also allows you to dive deep into observations and really makes connections. How so? Keep up with me to find out.

People whose social media of choice is Twitter are utilizing Hootsuite the most. If you too are broadcasting through Twitter, Hootsuite is perfect and the most effective tool for you.
What exactly does Hootsuite do for your Twitter?

  • It helps you stay focused on the characters, as it tells you the exact number of characters.
  • Shortens your links
  • Puts in your tracking codes (if you want them)
  • Schedules them out

Pretty great perks, don’t you think?

The primary purpose I’m using Hootsuite for is sharing and monitoring. There’s a spreadsheet for scheduling. Hootsuite has a CSV file where you can plan your post and then upload it.

Hold on folks, that’s not all. When it comes to sharing on Hootsuite, you’ll find it perfect for searching the keywords on different social media channels.

Other than that, if you’re an admin of the group and you’re managing agroup,Hootsuite is great regarding its dashboard, where you’re able to see things.

That’s how I monitor my clients and my personal social media channels, all from one tab. I can see their feeds, so I know exactly how each post is performing. That way I can see what we can share or what we should change to improve.

Hootsuite is designed for that type of analysis and social media use. Check this out if you want to learn how to “Shave 6 Hours off your Day” with Hootsuite.

Hootsuite has changed since its first days, but I still love it. And now you know why. There isn’t a better place to see from a bird’s eye view all your social media in one place.

Postplanner

Is your fan page a little dead or slow, and things just do not seem to be picking up? You want to reanimate it. But how?

When you’re managing social media, you want high engagement on your page. You’re not alone; we all want high engagement. That’s not a secret.

But more often then not you’ll face a problem of not knowing which content will assure you of that engagement.

That’s when Postplanner comes on the scene. This tool is great because you’ll always know what content is viral.

What Postplanner exactly does is help you find content that people have already liked, shared, retweeted or reposted over and over and allows you to share it.

What I do with Postplanner is I go to the source of the post. I don’t necessarily want to share it now. But when I find viral content and go to the source of the content, it usually proves to be a gold mine.

Try it for yourself. Go to the source of the viral content and just look at what other content they have. If this one place has one piece of viral content, they probably have more than one.

So, there you go. Use Postplanner to find that high engagement content you’re looking for on your page.

Don’t go just yet. Things are getting even better now.

We’ve got rolling “Facebook Marketing Bootcamp” and “Blogging Bootcamp”. There’s still time for you to join us because you’ll find learn-as-you go videos that we do weekly and/or monthly.

You heard me right. Feel free to come in on the hot sits and let’s dive deep into your social media analysis.
